Western Libraries invites both the campus and the community to join us for a day of celebration on Friday, November 1st.

We will begin by celebrating Western Libraries' 50th anniversary of being a Federal Documents Depository with cake in the Skybridge at 1:00 pm, followed by a panel discussion in the Library Presentation Room at 2:00 pm featuring WWU faculty talking about the value of using government information in their research.

Then at 4:00 pm, a special reception to recognize the official opening of the Libraries' new Northwest Collection will take place in the Reading Room in Wilson 4 Central, and the day will wrap up with a presentation from renowned aerial photographer John Scurlock from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We hope you can join us for any or all of these programs!
