In 2010, The Evergreen State College completed a $3 million renovation project to bring about modern facilities supporting the college’s need for increased student access to media technologies, teleconferencing and other administrative media productions. The project resulted in facilities designed to provide access to professional equipment for producing TV and audio production for students seeking hands-on experience.
Peter Randeltte, head of electronic media at The Evergreen State College, will be speaking on Thursday, November 21st about how his university was able to build a state-of-the-art "Center for Creative and Applied Media," (CAAM). He will discuss the purposes of the CCAM, the processes of design, how it is being used, as well as lessons learned.
