The Center for Education, Equity and Diversity and Western Libraries are co-sponsoring a panel discussion on Sherman Alexie's Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Tiime Indian in connection with the Whatcom Reads! Program and Alexie's visit to Western on March 18.
A panel of Native Americans will discuss the book from their various perspectives. Panelists include Jeff James, a member of the Lummi community, Kristen French, Dan First, Scott Rowe, and Joseph Trimble, Western Faculty, and Western student Diana Hollenhorst.
