Brian Griffin and Neelie Nelson, co-authors of the recently released book My Darling Anna, will give a free lecture entitled “My Darling Anna: A Tale of Archives and Discovery.” The authors will describe their research process and use of local archives, beginning with discovery of a treasure trove of letters that ultimately became the heart of their book, and concluding with the publishing of their volume, which adds an exciting new dimension to the history of Whatcom County.

This will be an inspiring and enjoyable presentation for history enthusiasts and any individuals curious to embark upon their own research and journeys of historical discovery. Join Brian and Neelie to learn more about their ongoing detective work to uncover treasures and untold stories in the archives, and craft from these the telling tales of our community’s past and present.
