The photograph catalog includes item level descriptions of over 6000 photographs found in the Howard Buswell and the P.R. Jeffcott Collections. These images document change and development in the Pacific Northwest region from the 1850 through the 1960’s.
Particularly well documented are Whatcom, Skagit and Island counties in Washington State. The collection includes urban, natural scenes, portraits, and images associated with Native American culture and traditions. Additional images are cataloged and added to the database on an ongoing basis.
