Section WWU01 includes agendas, minutes, correspondence and reports documenting meetings and activitiesof committees, councils, boards and associations which establish policies and procedures for the University.

Meeting Minutes and Agenda, Board of Trustees. Provides an official record of the Board of Trustees regularly scheduled and special meetings.

Board of Trustees/ President's Office: 6 years after end of calendar year; transfer to University Archives at end of retention period for historical preservation; retained for intrinsic value

 
Meeting Minutes and Agenda, College/Departmental or Program Committee Records. Includes meeting agendas, minutes, reports, correspondence and related materials documenting activities of colleges, departments or program committees. Originating office: 6 years after end of academic year; transfer to University Archives at end of retention period for historical preservation  
Meeting Minutes and Agenda, Curriculum Council. (Humanities and Social Sciences) Minutes establish curriculum policy for College of Humanities & Social Sciences; minutes for FAC document policy-making process of Humanities & Social Sciences. College of Humanities & Social Sciences , Dean's Office: 7 years after end of fiscal year; transfer to University Archives at end of retention period for historical preservation  
Meeting Minutes and Agenda, Faculty Senate. Provides an official record of proceedings of the Faculty Senate. Faculty Senate Office: 10 years after the end of the academic year; transfer to University Archives at end of retention period for historical preservation  

Meeting Minutes and Agenda, Search Committee Records: Positions of Faculty and Professional Staff, Not Including President, Vice-President, Dean or Director. Resumes, applications and other documents from applicants and search committees pertaining to selection of faculty and professional staff for both hired and non-hired positions.

Note: All applications for public employment, including the names of applicants, resumes, and other related materials submitted with respect to an applicant, are exempt from public inspection and copying
(reference RCW 42.56.250)

Office conducting search: 3 years after end of calendar year. May transfer records to the Archives & Records Center for storage, or retain in office for the three year period.

 

Meeting Minutes and Agenda, Search Committee Records: Positions of President, Vice-President, Dean and Director. Resumes, applications and other documents from applicants and search committees pertaining to selection of President, Vice-President, Dean or Director for both hired and non-hired applicants.

Note: All applications for public employment, including the names of applicants, resumes, and other related materials submitted with respect to an applicant, are exempt from public inspection and copying

Office conducting search: 3 years after end of calendar year. These records have ongoing historical value; transfer to the University Archives at end of retention period for preservation. May also store in Records Center when search is concluded.  
Meeting Minutes and Agenda, Tape Recordings. Audio Tape recordings of committee, council or board meeting minutes. Proceedings transcribed and printed in official minutes. Any Office:6 years after end of fiscal year
