Displays & Exhibits

Western Libraries celebrates Womens’ History Month by highlighting people, history, and stories.

Since 2018, Western Libraries Archives & Special Collections has significantly enhanced its Rare Book Collection, largely through donations. Strengthening the diversity of the collection has been a top goal, and an impressive array of items from many different times and places have recently been added. A new exhibition features a sampling of these recent acquisitions.
Having accessible, self-paced, 24/7 support for research and writing can help both busy students and instructors. Western Libraries has a suite of online resources created with this need in mind.

The 2025 Whatcom READS selection 'No Two Persons' by Erica Bauermeister is the featured book for a series of events and programs open to the public and the WWU community.

The zine collection at Western Libraries is located on the second floor of Wilson in 'The Corner,' and all zines can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks.
