Western Libraries closed to the public - Open Online

The Library is currently open online only, with the buildings closed until further notice due to the ongoing response to COVID-19. We continue to offer access to materials and collections online, as well as extensive services and support for teaching and learning.

  • Tutoring Center - During the quarter when classes are in session, the Tutoring Center is open online and offers assistance on Sundays 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. / Mondays through Thurdays 10 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. / Fridays 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. You can also schedule an appointment online with a tutor outside of these regular hours. (For information about intersession and holidays, please see the Holidays & Special Hours page.)
  • Hacherl Research & Writing Studio - During the quarter when classes are in session, the Hacherl Research & Writing Studio is open online and offers assistance Sundays from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm. / Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. / Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (For information about intersession and holidays, please see the Holidays & Special Hours page.)
  • On-Site Pickup Service Hours - WWU students, staff, and faculty may place online requests for items from Western Libraries and participating Summit libraries for on-site pickup. On-Site Pickup hours are currently: Sundays from noon to 3:00 p.m. / Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon / Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to noon. (For information about intersession and holidays, please see the Holidays & Special Hours page.) **Sun. Feb. 14 - On-Site Pickup Services CANCELED due to inclement weather**
  • Mail Delivery Services - WWU students, staff, and faculty may place online requests for items from Western Libraries and participating Summit libraries which are then mailed to the address they provide.
