Research-Writing Studio: Accommodations

For assistance with your information needs or research projects, visit the Research-Writing Studio. Located on Haggard Hall 2, you can call the Studio at (360) 650-3094 or use our Ask Us! Reference Service.

Retrieving Materials

Upon request, library staff in all units will assist with the retrieval of books and other materials, and with the use of electronic and other bibliographic resources. Time needed for retrieval will vary depending on staff availability.

Physical Access to the Libraries

Entrances and ExitsAccessible Entrance - Haggard Hall

Western Libraries is best accessed through the Haggard Hall entrances and exits.


Western Libraries is accessible by elevator. In the Wilson Library, please use the elevator near the Corner. The Music Library, which is located in the Performing Arts Center, can also be accessed by elevator.


Accessible restrooms are available, and located in, Haggard Hall within Western Libraries.

Study Rooms

Western Libraries has ten study rooms located in Wilson on floors 3-5.  Floors 4 and 5 are quiet study floors. Contact Circulation Services at (360) 650-3084 for more information.

Service Animals

Patrons with service animals are welcome to Western Libraries. All other animals and/or pets must remain outside of the Libraries.
