WWU is participating in the national celebration of Frederick Douglass’ birthday by hosting Douglass Day, an event of commemoration and collective action, and you are invited to join us. Stop by the VU Room 735 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

This year’s Transcribe-a-thon features the African American Perspectives Collection at the Library of Congress. 

There will also be a birthday cake decorating station (11am-12pm) and lunch from Calypso Kitchen (12pm-1pm).
