Another way to think about developing your inquiry question is to consider how different disciplines would look at a particular topic. Each discipline asks different questions about topics to represent their disciplinary perspectives.

 

  • Social sciences ask questions about the social dimension of a topic.
  • Arts and humanities ask questions about the cultural dimensions of a topic.
  • Sciences ask questions about the observable and measurable aspect of a topic.
