American Fly Fishing Literature 2016

American Fly Fishing Literature 2016

Each year Paul and Mary Ann Ford donate a selection of books on fly fishing, this year's donation are all fine books published by William Trego under the imprint, Meadow Run Press. These are high quality, finely produced original works by established authors, and reprints of some of the classics. The books are valuable not just for their content, but for the beauty of the book as an object.

Included in this display are Harry Middleton's, The Starlight Creek Angling Society (1992). This is a signed and illustrated copy and was only published in this edition making it a very special treat. Another treasure is Eugene V. Connett III's, My friend the trout (1991, originally published in 1961). Connett was the founder of another premier sportsmen's publishing house, The Derrydale Press. This was his last book and includes a lifetime of reflections on the sport. Two other highlights are The bonefish: tales of the flats (1993), and, The silver king: tarpon tales (1992) by George Reiger. Both are signed and include illustrations by Peter Corbin.

These are only highlights, see the brochure for a full listing.
