This year Paul and Mary Ann Ford have chosen to focus their gift on Dana S. Lamb (1899-1986). Lamb was a socially prominent mid-twentieth century sports writer, whose work included many angling stories. Professionally he was a successful investment banker, but his passion was the outdoors. He fished the northeastern United States and Atlantic Canada and was particularly fond of fly fishing for Atlantic salmon. Priviliged, he was able to enjoy membership in a variety of fish and game clubs, but he was also was generous in donating to many community and wildlife preservation needs.
