What is Summit?

Summit is a resource sharing service that provides access to print and media materials from 39 academic libraries throughout Washington, Oregon and Idaho. See here for a map of participating libraries.

This service is available free of charge to any currently enrolled student, staff, or faculty member (current or emeritus) with a valid WWU account, as well as to Visiting Summit patrons. Summit works hand-in-hand with your circulation account, so no special registration is required.

Summit items may be checked out for 6 weeks (for books) or 6 days (for media) and are non-renewable. After requesting a Summit item it generally takes 3-5 business days for your item to arrive.
