Western Students

Western students can get help with research, reading, and writing from the Hacherl Research & Writing Studio, as well as Study Skills and STEM GUR tutoring from the Tutoring Center, both onsite in the library and online.

You can access tutorials, e-books, articles and databases, and other resources online at any time. And you can also borrow print books and access supplemental course readings for your classes if your instructor has placed them on reserve.

You are welcome to explore historical primary source materials through Archives & Special Collections, and there is a series of online tutorial videos you can watch to get an introduction to and overview of the collections, tools, and services they provide.

When inside the library buildings, there are a variety of spaces to fit your needs, whether you are looking for a quiet spot to study or you are in search of a place to collaborate. Check out “Find a Space” to locate your perfect spot or to reserve a study room using the online room booking system, which lets you choose and reserve available study spaces in real time or up to one week in advance.
