Requesting & Borrowing Using Summit
Looking for extra sources for that paper you’re writing? Reviewing materials for an upcoming syllabus? Try ordering what you need through Summit! Western Libraries is a member of the Orbis Cascade Alliance, which includes 38 other libraries and has collective holdings in excess of 22.5 million items! Submitting a Summit request is easy. First, search for the item you want in OneSearch, the Libraries’ online catalog, and then sign in to your library account with your universal login. Click on the "Request Using Summit Borrowing" option and follow the prompts to submit your request. Once the item arrives, we’ll notify you via email. Items can be borrowed for twelve weeks, with the option of one six-week renewal. Everything is linked to your library account so you can easily monitor the status of your Summit requests and their due dates, alongside all your other WWU materials.
