Wifi

Wifi is available throughout the libraries public spaces.

  • Students, faculty, and staff should use WWUwireless-Secure. You only need to authenticate the first time you connect and after you change your universal password.
  • Visitors can use WWUwireless-Guest for free public wifi on their own device. Just agree to the terms of service to get connected.  Computer and database use is limited to current students, faculty, and staff.

  • Equipment loans are limited to current students, faculty, and staff.

Computers in the Libraries

Computers are available throughout the Libraries and are available for use by current Western students, faculty, staff, and research associates as described in the Libraries Computer Use Policy.

 

Public Access Computers

A small number of computer terminals are available on the 2nd floor of Haggard Hall for use by members of the public.

  • Login information for these computers is available from Circulation Services in Haggard Hall.
  • Use is limited to one session per day, up to two hours.
  • New sessions and troubleshooting support are available until 30 minutes before the library closes.
  • Guests must show a photo ID and agree to Western Libraries Computer Use Policy and WWU’s Ethical Conduct with WWU Network And Computing Resources policy each time a login is issued.
  • Guests must adhere to Western Libraries’ Visitor Guidelines.
  • Non-compliance with any of the guidelines or policies may result in loss of public computer use 

Printing

Printing is limited to current students, faculty, and staff
