Course Reserves at Western Libraries

In a hurry? Check this page for tips on posting your own electronic material to Canvas - http://libweb1.library.wwu.edu/elearning/documents/Library_Services_Remote_Instruction_March2020.pdf

Due to coronavirus-related closures course reserves are being processed remotely. Requests for physical material and scans from physical material will be completed as soon as possible and in the order received. If you have already submitted a reserves request, it will appear on your Canvas class page during spring break.

Western Libraries provides course reserves services to all current faculty, students, and staff. Reserves are electronic and physical materials needed for coursework, and may include library- and instructor-owned texts, articles, videos, audio recordings, and other relevant resources that support of classroom instruction.

Please note that electronic materials are hosted through the campus learning management system, Canvas, while physical materials are housed near the Libraries Circulation Desk on the second floor of Haggard Hall. In order to meet the needs of all students, physical items may have a shortened loan period.
