The Western Libraries has finalized the outcomes of the 2024-25 subscription review process. These changes, most of which will take effect on January 1, 2026, are part of an ongoing effort to ensure that the university’s portfolio of journal, database, and e-book subscriptions remains dynamic and relevant.
Displays & Exhibits

Western Libraries is pleased to celebrate Pride and to highlight a selection of items in our collections and partner libraries through Summit, to give voice to the many intersectional identities in the LGBTQ+ community.

Since 2018, Western Libraries Archives & Special Collections has significantly enhanced its Rare Book Collection, largely through donations. Strengthening the diversity of the collection has been a top goal, and an impressive array of items from many different times and places have recently been added. A new exhibition features a sampling of these recent acquisitions.
Having accessible, self-paced, 24/7 support for research and writing can help both busy students and instructors. Western Libraries has a suite of online resources created with this need in mind.

The zine collection at Western Libraries is located on the second floor of Wilson in 'The Corner,' and all zines can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks.
